Active and planned power plants located in various regions of Georgia
The Sashuala HPP has an installed capacity of 2.25 MW. The construction of the plant began in August 2021, and it was commissioned in July 2023. The electricity is sold on the wholesale electricity market. The company uses high-quality European technologies and equipment at the hydropower plant, which are typical for renewable energy businesses. Among them are turbines, hydraulic systems, generators, electrical devices, transformers, and pipeline. Specifically, the plant is equipped with European-made equipment from Vaptech, Schneider, and Noksel.
Sashuala HPP 1 is a run-of-the-river plant with an installed capacity of 8 MW, located in Chokhatauri municipality near the village of Metsieti. Sashuala HPP 1 was commissioned in 2021. The plant is equipped with European-made equipment from Vaptech, Schneider, and Noksel.
Sashuala HPP 2 is another run-of-the-river hydroelectric plant located in the Chokhatauri municipality. It has an installed capacity of 5 MW. Construction of the Sashuala HPP 2 began in April 2018 and it was commissioned on December 24, 2019. The plant is equipped with European-made equipment from Vaptech, Schneider, and Noksel.
Surebi HPP is a potential hydroelectric power plant project located in the Chokhatauri municipality, on the Supsa River. In March 2024, the company signed an agreement with the Government of Georgia for the preparation of a feasibility study and the subsequent construction and ownership [of the plant]. The plant's planned capacity is 15 MW.
